There are 3 different pathways by which candidates can be be admitted into the programmes in the discipline: the Unified Tertiary Matriculation (UTME), the Direct Entry, and Inter-University TransferUnified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Admission through UTME, shall take the student to 100 level. To be eligible for admission, candidate is expected to pass both the UTME and the University screening test. The candidate must have, in addition to that, a minimum of credit pass in five subjects at not more than two sittings in WAEC SSCE, NECO or GCE (ordinary level). The credit passes are required in the following subjects: English language, Mathematics, and any other two (2) Social Sciences subjects. The UTME subjects are: English Language, Mathematics and any other two (2) Social Sciences. Direct Entry Candidates with two A-level passes (graded A-E) at Advanced Level in one or more relevant subjects; National Diploma or equivalent in relevant areas and any other qualifications deemed fit by the University Senate may undertake the three – year degree programme path into 200- level. Inter-University Transfer Mode Students can transfer into 200-Level courses provided they have the relevant qualifications and the requisite CGPA.
